My name is Aruna Jacobs
I am a young Dutch woman who loves traveling, history, culture, food, and nature. I studied and lived all over Europe on my way to becoming a Food Anthropologist. While in Florence for a research project, I fell in love with the city, its people, its history, and ... well a Florentine man of course! Over ten years have passed since I decided to move here and now I enjoy a full Italian family life with all the jolly parties and joyful traditional Italian festivities this wonderful country has to offer. My eternal curiosity always brings me to discover new places in and outside Florence. So many appreciated experiences that I love to share enthusiastically.

The apartment is located on Via Laura 54 around the corner from the Academy Gallery and a 5-minute walk from the Duomo square. From here you can walk through the famous Via Calzaiuoli towards the Signoria Square to see the Palazzo Vecchio, Uffizi Gallery, and Ponte Vecchio. The train station is a 15 minutes walk, here you can also find a bus station to travel to other locations in Tuscany. There is a direct tramline from the Florence Airport to the train station to Piazza San Marco. Which is right around the corner from the apartment, so you can hop on and relax as you drive into the heart of town. Here you can also take various local buses. For instance, to go up to Fiesole!
